Before Teaching Lab, Asia worked in Business Development and Partnerships for tech companies, including two startups. Most recently she worked as Partnerships Manager for the Dakar, Senegal-based startup Wutiko.

As a former scholar and professor of International Studies, Asia offers a distinctive blend of academic, project management, and business development expertise. Asia specializes in crafting innovative cold outreach strategies that generate leads and foster robust relationships with decision-makers and C-suite leaders in various industries–including software development, retail, healthcare, and hospitality–as well as governments and NGOs. Her decade-long background in higher education, social science research, teaching, and workshop facilitation makes her a unique value add in the business development world.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Asia has explored 45+ countries as a solo traveler and enjoys the challenge of navigating new places and cultures.
