Eva Mireles

Eva Mireles is currently a literacy coach and reading specialist. She has been in educa8on for 18 years and taught grades 2nd, 3rd and 5th as a classroom teacher. Eva has supported and coached Kinder through 5th grade students and teachers as a reading specialist at various Elementary schools in San Antonio, Texas.

Her master’s degree is in education, with a concentration in advanced literacy from Concordia University Texas. In addi8on to working with students and teachers on a campus, Eva is also a professional development presenter, podcaster and curriculum writer. As a lifelong learner she believes that teachers are the chief learners in their classroom which means that if you are not learning you are stagnating. This philosophy ensures that she is always on the lookout for the next learning opportunity.

Eva has been awarded new teacher of the year and educator of the year which showcases her commitment to excellence in the education. She joined the Teacher Advisory Board to increase my impact across the educational landscape and connect with other like-minded leaders in education.

Eva believes that when it comes to education everyone plays a vital role. This means that students, teachers, school leaders and parents are charged with forming a cohesive team that results in an increase in student performance.
