Manager, Program

She/Her

As Program Manager, Hanady implements programmatic services and designs high-quality, research-based, and user-centered professional learning services, tools, and resources to improve teaching and learning and advance educational equity for and with our school system partners.

Hanady has over 17 years of experience in the field of education.  She graduated from Brooklyn College, with a Master of Science in Mathematics Education in 2004, and a Bachelors in Early Childhood/Elementary Education in 2000. Hanady also completed a Specialist degree from National Louis University in Educational Leadership Administration and Supervision in 2017.   Soon after graduating from New York, Hanady moved to a new state with her family and became a Central Florida Educator, followed by a Title I District Math Coach, an Elementary Math Program Specialist, and a Senior Administrator of Elementary Math & MTSS. Her training and school-based support are always centered on best practices, pedagogical content knowledge, generating discourse, and forming connections between mathematical procedures and conceptual understanding.

Hanady has served on multiple state-level committees involving Test Validation, Item Review, Setting Cut Scores, Alignment Studies, Standard Setting, and Designing Achievement Level Descriptors.  In bridging connections between schools and families, Hanady experienced the benefits of providing workshops on how to infuse mathematical learning at home.  She focused on building growth mindsets, increasing student confidence, and conceptual understanding through daily routines, and monitoring of student progress.

Hanady enjoys traveling (while learning about other cultures), swimming, cooking, and spending quality time with her children along with the rest of her family.
