Jessika Davidson

Director, Strategic Brand Communications

She/Her

As Director, Marketing & Communications, Jessika develops and leads the execution of our marketing, communications, and influence strategy to increase brand awareness, drive lead generation, and build a stronger field of evidence-based teacher professional learning.

A communications strategist, connector, and community organizer, she has spent the last decade working to cultivate more inclusive and equitable communities across various impact areas through powerful storytelling. Most recently, she was the Director of Development at the Buffalo Soldiers National Museum during the launch of a multimillion-preservation campaign.

Jessika's communications experience also includes in-house leadership roles with the National March for Science, Pantsuit Nation, and the Hurston/Wright Foundation for Black Writers. In addition, she led several communications projects as a consultant with Houston's One Breath Partnership, Houston in Action's GenHTX Voting Initiative, Atlanta's CHRIS 180, and Mid America Arts Alliance.

Jessika is an avid supporter of arts and culture organizations and enjoys visiting local museums whenever she travels. In her leisure, she and her husband host supper clubs at their home. They also enjoy being new parents to their daughter and going on walks with their feisty 8-year-old terrier mix Riley.
