As Manager, Program, LaToya implements programmatic services and designs high-quality, research-based, and user-centered professional learning services, tools, and resources to improve teaching and learning and advance educational equity for and with our school system partners.

LaToya has been in education for 14 years. The span of her educational journey has been serving and supporting teachers and students across schools in the Greater Memphis area (Legacy Memphis City Schools/Shelby County Schools, KIPP Memphis & Gestalt Community Schools, where she worked with School Principals, Deans, Instructional Coaches and teachers to provide rigorous instruction and HQIM for all students on a daily basis.

Additionally, LaToya worked for the National Student Support Accelerator at The Annenberg Institute at Brown University on tutoring program quality improvement. She is driven by the understanding that the work that we do as educators directly impacts students’ lives.

LaToya holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Master’s degrees from Christian Brothers University as well as Relay Graduate School of Education. 

LaToya enjoys singing (karaoke style) with her friends and strangers. LaToya enjoys taking cruises and enjoying all the activities that the cruise line offers. She currently resides in Memphis, TN.
