Before Teaching Lab, Marika worked in the Baltimore City Public School System for 13 years. During that time, Marika served as a classroom teacher before becoming a Math Coach for a PreK-8th Grade School; as a Math Coach, Marika not only supported instruction within her school but also supported, created, and facilitated systemic professional learning for math and instructional technology for the entire district.
