As Senior Director, Strategic Partnerships, Maya sets the goals, strategy, and priorities for, and manages the implementation of the partnership development strategy to increase earned revenue from school systems and philanthropy from foundations and meet the Teaching Lab’s revenue generation goals to ensure Teaching Lab’s sustainability and growth.

Maya is a senior operations leader and strategist with over a decade of experience working in the public sector in finance and business operations. Her expertise is in designing, implementing, and scaling systems and structures to support organizations to strategically and sustainably grow while maximizing impact. Prior to joining Teaching Lab, Maya was the Director of Business Operations for the northeast region at TNTP, Inc. In that role, she managed the region’s business operations team and supervised cross-functional teams to design and implement new systems and processes to support a rapidly growing organization. As the DBO, she grew her region's revenue by 150%, reaching over 4.5 million students in FY22. Previously, Maya supported organizations as a Financial Analyst, FP&A at TNTP, Inc., School Performance Analyst with the Camden City School District, and as a high school teacher in Philadelphia, PA.

Maya has a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, a master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and is currently pursuing an MBA at New York University Stern School of Business.
