Before joining Teaching Lab, Milagros held the role of K-8 Math Educational Consultant at Savvas Learning Company. Specializing in the enVision curriculum, she offered Professional Learning Services and conducted coaching sessions for teachers in the northeast region. Prior to this consultancy role, Milagros served as a Bilingual Special Education teacher within the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), contributing her expertise to students in both Brooklyn and the Bronx. The combination of experience as an educational consultant and a dedicated teacher in diverse settings has equipped Milagros with a rich background in educational leadership and instructional support.

Milagros is a mother of two and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She enjoys reading, music, and exploring new cuisines.
