Misty Kluesner joins Teaching Lab with 13 years of experience as an educator and coach, along with her passion for inspiring curiosity and creativity in all learners. She also served as the Assistant Director of the MERIT program through the Krause Center for Innovation and has represented various organizations at educational conferences throughout the country.

Misty received her Masters in Creativity and Technology in Education from Gratz College and her Educational Technology Leadership Certificate from the Krause Center for Innovation. She is also trained in design thinking through the Stanford d.School and helped co-launch the Teacher Innovation Network in collaboration with several counties in the state of California.

Misty currently lives in the Santa Cruz Mountains in California with her husband, 4 year old son, and 2 dogs Leeloo and Webster. In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the redwoods, drawing, playing video games, and cheering on her 49ers.
