Rod earned a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of New Orleans, an alternative teacher certification from Nicholls State University, and a Master of Education in educational leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University.

Mr. Naquin is currently a doctoral student at Southeastern Louisiana University studying teacher collaborative discourse. Mr. Naquin serves as Director, Program for Teaching Lab. He taught tenth and eleventh grade English language arts for seven years and is currently a member of the Linguistic Society of America.

He is a first-cohort English language arts Content Leader with the Louisiana Department of Education and has designed, facilitated and delivered many professional learning experiences across the state of Louisiana since 2016.
