She/Her/Ella

Sarah designs high quality professional learning experiences in Math and RLA in support of schools, districts, and states implementing high-quality instructional materials (HQIM). She partners with clients to create systems and structures that support their specific context and lead to equitable outcomes for all students.  Sarah has supported initiatives in Cleveland Metro School district, the state of Texas with its Strong Foundations Grant, Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and other single-site districts.

Sarah joins Teaching Lab with 12 years of experience in schools as a teacher, teacher leader, and school leader. She started her career as a DC Teaching Fellow at a dual language school. As a bilingual teacher, Sarah has taught students in grades 3-5 in Math and RLA in English and Spanish, and across DC and Texas. As a school leader, Sarah led multiple initiatives, including HQIM implementation for Math and RLA, supporting new teacher cohorts, and supporting the MLL instructional program at elementary and middle schools.

Outside of school, Sarah is a mommy of two.  You can find her spending quality time with her family, enjoying delicious meals together (she’s a foodie and Yelp Elite!), or binge-watching the next hit.
