Terri started her career as a 4th and 5th grade teacher in East Palo Alto, California. She later worked at A Better Chance, supporting students of color in applying to, enrolling in, and graduating from college preparatory high schools. Terri worked as the National Director of Recruitment at Uncommon Schools and the Chief Talent Officer at UP Education Network. Most recently, Terri worked as the Deputy Chief of Talent for the School District of Philadelphia, where she oversaw the hiring and onboarding of 3,500 employees (including more than 1,000 teachers) annually.

Terri loves Broadway musicals, Stevie Wonder, and going on adventures with her family.
