As a Program Manager for English Language Arts (ELA) grades K-5 at Teaching Lab. Shanique leads the implementation of ELA programs tailored to the needs of our clients. Her role involves collaborating with educators, curriculum specialists, and school district leaders to implement and manage effective instructional pedological practices. Shanique’s dedication to improving literacy outcomes drives her commitment to supporting teachers and students in their educational journey.

Shanique is an Education Consultant with a passion for driving positive change in the field. Over the past 7 years, she's honed her skills in curriculum development, program evaluation, and instructional design, contributing to improved education outcomes. Her experience includes managing projects, leading teams, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders on national initiatives. At The New Teacher Project (TNTP), she played a pivotal role in designing professional development sessions and implementing effective instructional tools. Previously, she served as an Instructional Program Manager at Catapult Learning. In her previous role, she developed positive client relationships, monitored academic programs, and trained newly hired teachers to enhance student outcomes. Shanique holds a Doctor of Education in Learning and Organizational Change from Baylor University. Additionally, she has certifications in the Early Childhood Program, Certified Teacher in New York, and Certified Teacher Assistant in Florida.

Outside of work, Shanique is an avid reader -- aiming to read one book per week. She also maintains a lifestyle blog, and stays active with regular workouts.
